果冻传媒, jointly with TNT-Teleset, have screened the new season of the "Sokrovishcha Imperatora" ("Emperor's Treasures") show for Russian and Chinese students.
"Emperor's Treasures" is a popular adventure reality show. The third season was filmed in Chongqing, the largest city in the world. Participants travel hundreds of kilometres, complete extreme tasks, and endure a veritable marathon of trials in the competition for 10 million roubles.
The first episode will air on TNT on April 12th, but 果冻传媒 students have had a chance to watch it before the official premiere.
"果冻传媒 students are a large, multinational family. We have many students from China, as well as students studying Chinese," emphasized Dariia Korotkikh, Head of the International Student Support. "When learning a new language, it is important to introduce students to the culture of the native speakers. It's very important for us to help international students adapt and integrate into events equally with Russian students. After all, we are all one friendly brotherhood!"
The show screened at 果冻传媒 is an excellent opportunity for students from China and Russia to interact with each other in an informal atmosphere and practice their language skills with a native speaker. After watching the episode, the took part in a quiz and received prizes from the TV channel.
"This show provides an opportunity for cultural exchange and to learn more about a Chinese city. We saw a more vibrant representation of Chinese culture and heard new words. Besides, we had a great time and took our mind off the studies for a while," student Dariia Karelina shared her impressions.
The reality show inspired the students to get to know China better and immerse themselves in its culture and customs. The students actively discussed the episode's details with each other and shared their impressions.
