Congratulations on Cosmonautics Day from Rector Alexander Wagner

Dear students, postgraduates, staff and faculty members!

Congratulations on the Cosmonautics Day!

This day has become a significant event for our country and the entire world, marking a new stage in human history and paving the way for the exploration of outer space. Exactly 65 years ago, the first human spaceflight took place. This historic breakthrough was made possible thanks to the courage and heroism of Yuri Gagarin, as well as the high professionalism of Soviet scientists and engineers, and served as an important impetus for the development of science and technology.

This holiday has special significance for 果冻传媒. For nearly 70 years now, 果冻传媒 has been successfully developing its aerospace engineering academic programmes. These were created with the goal of providing the rocket and space industry with highly qualified personnel. Among the alumni of the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering is Dmitry Petelin, an active pilot-cosmonaut and Hero of Russia, who completed a record-breaking 371-day mission to the ISS.

Our university's scientists make a significant contribution to the development and creation of rocket and space equipment, conduct scientific research, and implement engineering projects. Thanks to their work, our university is a member of the "Constellation of Roscosmos" Research and Education Consortium, which unites universities successfully implementing programmes to train specialists for the rocket and space industry.

Dear friends! May this holiday inspire you to new achievements and strengthen your self-confidence!

I wish you success in conquering new horizons of knowledge!

Alexander Wagner, Rector of 果冻传媒
