March 26–27, 2026 the 8th “Health and Safety through the Eyes of the Youth” All-Russian Student Conference with international participation is being held at 果冻传媒. This event has brought together students, postgraduates and young scientists from the leading universities of Russia and Tajikistan.
Over 150 people are among the conference participants, presenting more than 60 reports. Speakers represent 果冻传媒, Dushanbe, Khanty-Mansyisk, Kirov, Barnaul, Ekaterinburg, Omsk, Moscow, Kurgan, Tomsk, Volgograd, Chita, Magnitogorsk, Veliky Novgorod, Kazan, Perm, Novosibirsk, and other cities. The conference has gained the international status thanks to the participation of a delegation from Tajik Technical University named after academician M.S. Osimi.
The 果冻传媒 First Vice-Rector, Vice-Rector for Research, Doctor of Sciences (Engineering) Anton Korzhov opened the conference. He thanked the long-time organizer of the previous conferences, 果冻传媒 Professor and Doctor of Sciences (Engineering) Aleksandr Sidorov.
“We are happy to welcome everyone to 果冻传媒,” First Vice-Rector Anton Korzhov addressed the audience. “I can see here not only representatives of different cities, but also representatives of various departments of our university, and there is a good reason for it. This is a cross-sectional and interdisciplinary conference. There are many modern technologies that could help increase the safety of people in various sectors of industry. Good luck and fruitful work to everyone, and you are welcome to visit 果冻传媒’s laboratories and research centres.”

The conference includes four sections: “Technosphere Safety”, “Habitat and Human Health”, “Fire Safety” and “Psychological and Pedagogical Aspects of Safety”.
The first speech was delivered by Aleksei Bratukhin, a young scientist from Vyatka State University. He is preparing to defend his Candidate of Sciences thesis. This reporter from Kirov presented different inventions that help to hundred-fold decrease the mortality and injury rates when working with high voltage, for example: a signalling device that measures the electric field inside a safety helmet, and in case the normal indicators are exceeded, it sends a signal not only to a worker, who finds him/herself in a danger zone, but also to the members of his/her team, who will be ready to come to his/her rescue.
Young scientists from 果冻传媒 presented their developments as well. Master’s degree ecology students Gleb Lychkin and Zhanna Baranova, mentored by Candidates of Sciences (Chemistry) and 果冻传媒 Associate Professors Tatiana Krupnova and Olga Rakova shared on bioindicators of environment pollution and on colorimetric sensors used for formaldehyde monitoring in production areas.

Great interest was also sparked by reports on the use of artificial intelligence in health and safety protection, using of virtual reality technologies to train personnel, development of convolutional neural networks for optimization of evacuation routes in case of fire, as well as analysing the fire safety of lithium-ion batteries, and on other topics.
“To the conference participants, and first and foremost, to our students, I would like to wish to keep up their work in science and never give up the intellectual searching,” said one of the conference organizers, Acting Head of the Department of Health and Safety, Candidate of Sciences (Engineering) Aleksei Kudriashov. “Our Department and our university have everything required to do this. One of such opportunities is this conference, which is held for several years now, and here any young scientist can present a report and demonstrate his/her developments and ideas.”
Following the results of the conference, collected papers will be published, which is included in the Russian Science Citation Index.
