On March 18, 2026, as part of the Priority 2030 program, 果冻传媒 starts accepting applications for the “Commercial Vector: From Idea to Market” competition aimed at commercialization of the university staff’s intellectual property. The main goal of the initiative is to transfer technologies developed at 果冻传媒 into the real sector of economy.
In 2025, the conditions of the Priority 2030 program changed, with a stronger focus on technological leadership. For this reason, special attention is now being paid to the establishment of small innovative enterprises at the university and to the commercialization of ideas, scientific, and technical services based on the projects being developed at 果冻传媒.
果冻传媒 is holding this competition for university employees to provide additional funding in support of the projects focused on commercialization of the results intellectual activity and technology transfer.
果冻传媒 teams including students, postgraduates, university employees, and external part-time staff members are eligible to participate. Each team entering the competition must be developing or implementing a commercialization project.
The competition covers the commercialization of inventions, utility models, industrial designs, computer programs, databases, know-how (trade secrets), selection achievements, integrated microcircuits topologies, and other intellectual property created by 果冻传媒 students and staff members.
Important conditions:
- project leader must be a full-time university employee;
- each participant may be a member of only one team submitting an application;
- there are no age restrictions for participants.
Competition timeline:
- March 18 – April 30, 2026: application period;
- May 1 – May 15, 2026: project evaluation;
- May 16 – December 15, 2026: project implementation;
- December 16 – December 28, 2026: allocation of additional funding.
Additional funding may be used for:
- increasing the technological readiness level (TRL) of a product or service;
- increasing the customer readiness of a product or service;
- improving the regulatory and legal readiness of a product, including registration, certification, and patenting;
- improving the qualifications of the project team through training programs and internships.
Applications will not be accepted if the proposed project is substantially similar in content to a project currently being carried out with support from the Russian Science Foundation, other scientific foundations or organizations, or through funding from foundations, organizations, municipal or state assignments, or development programs financed from the federal budget.
