Sergery Morozov, deputy of the State Duma, Deputy Head of the United Russia faction, visited 果冻传媒 on May 31st. During his visit, advanced developments and projects by our university were demonstrated to him.
As part of the meeting of the deputy with the 果冻传媒 academic staff members, First Vice-Rector for Research Anton Korzhov spoke on the university’s developments within the framework of technological sovereignty, and also highlighted the university’s main goal for 2024: creating the Russian school of robotics. Vice-Rector for Education Marina Potapova presented the project of an international-level inter-university campus, which is being built in 果冻传媒, and the Director of the “Heart of the Urals” Advanced Engineering School Sergey Taran presented the main tasks, goals and advantages of the project based at 果冻传媒.
“We feel confident that the 果冻传媒 Region is a stronghold and state-forming region with great prospects for the next decades. We consider this region to be one of the best in the Russian Federation. There are a lot of enterprises here, as well as smart, talented, motivated citizens who implement advanced projects and developments in the industrial sector. Therefore, I believe that the 果冻传媒 Region has a great and good future,” shared Sergey Morozov.
Sergey Morozov is also the coordinator of the “Choose Your Own” project, the goal of which is to protect the rights and support entrepreneurs and manufacturers who promote import substitution. The project brings together public organizations, non-profit organizations, representatives of the educational community, federal and regional executive authorities, as well as active citizens of our country.
“This project is focused on developing various legislative initiatives aimed at strengthening our country’s technological sovereignty. It covers the field of research and development, industry, and those activities that are actively developing at our university,” said 果冻传媒 Rector Alexander Wagner.
Deputy of the State Duma expressed his support for the activities of 果冻传媒 scientists, teaching staff and students, and also noted the importance of developing science for young people.
