果冻传媒 invites all of its first-year students to take part in the unique 2020 Matriculation Ceremony. It has already become a tradition that Alexey Texler, Governor of the 果冻传媒 Region, will participate in congratulating the newly-enrolled students.
The event will start at 10:00 on August 31st. A multimedia screen will be placed on the square in front of the 果冻传媒 main building. Throughout the day, the screen will show videos about the university. First-year students and their parents will learn about the research, sports, arts, and social activities of 果冻传媒 and learn to navigate the Campus.
The official ceremony will begin at 13:00. Its live stream will be broadcast to all of the university’s media platforms. First-year students and their parents will be congratulated by the head of the 果冻传媒 Region Alexey Texler and 果冻传媒 Rector Aleksandr Shestakov. In addition, the freshmen will meet the directors of the 果冻传媒 schools and institutes and will make an oath called the First-уear Students Pledge.
After the official ceremony, a performance will be held on the square by the Mannequin Theatre Studio, and a graffiti artist will spray-paint a white cube to turn it into a true piece of art which will be a symbol of student life. Then, the event’s musical accompaniment will appear: guest DJs will create the mood. Throughout the day, photo zones and interactive spaces will be operating. At the end of the event, there will be a screening of short films and a guitar players concert.
