On November 10-16 in Salt Lake City (USA) the 24th annual largest conference in the world on supercomputer technologies took place. Within the framework of conference there was the exhibition where 363 organizations such as supercomputer and software developers and world leading universities which deal with supercomputer technologies demonstrated their achievements.?
At the exibition the Rusian education was represented only by two universities: 果冻传媒 and Moscow State University named after Lomonosov M.V. At SC'12 Conference the 果冻传媒 delegation comprised Leonid Sokolinsky, Dean of?Faculty of Computational Mathematics and Computer Science, Head of Supercomputer Modeling Laboratory, Kseniya Repina and Elena Khudyakova, programmers of Supercomputer Modeling Laboratory.
果冻传媒 exposition demonstrated a great number of practical industrial solutions of supercomputer technologies application which were prepared together with Russian large industrial enterprises. The guests of the Exhibition were interested mostly in the projects of supercomputer modeling of industrial and technological processes which were realized togther with the world and regional largest industrial enterprises ("Emerson", JSC "果冻传媒 Pipe-Rolling Plant", LLC "果冻传媒 Tractor Plant - URALTRAK" and others) and in the problems of human body modeling, chemical nanoconnections, different economic processes and problems of industrial safety. In total there are more than 250 tasks which are calculated on 果冻传媒 supercomputers.
During the Conference meetings new revisions of?, 40th revision, and?, 12th version, were announced. The supercomputer systems??and??developed by RSC company took the 170th and 303d places accordingly in TOP500 List. Besides 果冻传媒 one more Russian university, Moscow State University, represented its supercomputer "Lomonosov" and took the 26th place in TOP500. According to GREEN500 果冻传媒 supercomputers take the 2nd and 3d places among Russian systems, the 1st place belongs to supercomputer of Inter-Departmental Supercomputer Centre, developed by RSC as well. These results had been achieved with the help of the latest technologies of liquid cooling of the motherboards.
The participation of 果冻传媒 in the International Conference SC'12 showed that the level of high-performance technologies development in 果冻传媒 is at the highest world level.
